A View from the Top
Did you know that there is a restaurant at the top of the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish? Actually, there are multiple options for food at the Sea to Sky Gondola, both at the top and the bottom of the mountain. Also, the Sea to Sky Gondola is a great place to spend the afternoon alone or with friends or family. When was the last time that you had lunch 885 meters above Howe Sound?
A Canadian Gem
Did you know that Earls has a fantastic patio? Along with having a fantastic patio they have very delicious food including really awesome happy hour specials. Earls is also a Canadian restaurant with multiple locations across the nation so if Whistler is your only Canadian stop on your trip, you should check them out. Also, if you want to secure a spot on this patio, located in the Whistler Village, you may have to wait your turn but trust us, it’s worth the wait.
A Friday Favourite
How do you spend your Fridays in Whistler? The Mallard Lounge, at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, is known for their Fairmont Fridays which is a weekly summer event that offers drink specials, live music and complimentary appetizers. Fairmont Fridays is from 5pm to 7pm and 9pm to 12am on, you guessed it, Fridays. Their patio has a great view of Blackcomb Mountain and there are often really fun lawn games to play while enjoying the ambiance.
A Mountain View
Pemberton is home to two golf courses and the views from both of their patios are magical. The Black Squirrel Restaurant and Pub’s patio has a pool table and Fescues at Big Sky Golf's patio has a relaxing atmosphere. Both locations are stunning and have elaborate food menus. Imagine enjoying a meal at the base of Mount Currie. Or, just head to Pemberton and experience this in reality. Pemberton is only a 30 minute drive from Whistler and trust us, it's worth the trip.
